Lions Club of Manyangwa
The Lions Club of Manyangwa received its charter on December 18, 2024, and celebrated its official charter night on February 22, 2025. The festivities were graced by the presence of District 411B Governor Lion Benon Katate and his gracious lady, past and present district leaders, Lions from the Lions Club of Manyangwa and other clubs, as well as guests.
The day began with the unveiling of the club's roadside signpost at its meeting place. The sign serves as a beacon of service, marking a place where members will meet regularly to plan initiatives that uplift the community.
No celebration of service would be complete without touching lives, and the members of the newly chartered club embodied this by making a heartfelt visit to the elders of Manyangwa.
The day concluded with a grand dinner, where Lions and guests gathered to celebrate, witness the official induction of charter members, and observe the installation of new club leaders.
The District Governor noted that the new club symbolized hope and served as a rallying point for all who believe in making a difference. Members and their leaders reflected on their shared vision and pledged to work tirelessly to love and serve those in need.
