About
The Lions Club of Jinja was chartered on 3rd December 1976, and it was sponsored by the Lions Club of Mbale. It is one of the oldest clubs in Uganda. The club has always attracted large membership. Initially, membership was largely dominated by Indians. However, Africans gradually embraced lionism and started joining the club.
